Support SCM Connections and our clients in providing advanced analytics, creation of machine learning applications and create supply chain/ financial reporting, forecasting, data/statistical measurements, etc. to our client teams and customers.
•Drive cross functional analytics projects from customer implementation to maintenance: build relationships with partner teams, frame and structure questions, collect and analyze data, as well as summarize and present key insights in support of supply chain decision making
•Collaborate with data scientists, business leaders, subject matter experts and customer teams to identify data best practices, develop success criteria and optimize new reports features, policies, and models
•Use your experience in analytics tools and scientific rigor to take noisy data and produce actionable information for our customers
•Communicate key results to senior management and customers in verbal, visual, and written media. Act as the customer facing member of the analytics team.
•Envision and build the next generation of supply chain analytics and data products utilizing Machine Learning, advanced analytics and proprietary algorithms.
•Mentor and manage supply chain analysts
•Master’s Level Degree Required. An advanced degree (M.S., MBA), preferably with a focus on Statistics, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, Economics, or a related technical field OR
•A candidate who has a master’s degree with minimum of internship experience OR
•A candidate who is slated to graduate with a master’s degree in the next year will be considered, provided degree is achieved prior to start date
•At least 2 years supply chain field experience and/or other similar data analyst experience where analytical and transferable critical thinking skills are required.
•A consistent track record of performing data analysis using Python, R and/ or VBA
•Experience using statistics and machine learning to solve complex business problems
•The versatility and willingness to learn new technologies on the job
•The ability to clearly communicate complex results to technical and non-technical audiences
•Advanced Excel knowledge
•Python, R and/or VBA functional knowledge required
•Machine Learning (e.g. regression, ensemble methods, etc.)
•Statistics (Bayesian methods, experimental design, causal inference)
