We’re excited to announce that Wade Smith has recently joined SCM Connections as an Associate Partner where he leads our Integrated Business Planning practice. Wade brings 15 years of experience implementing SAP Supply Chain modules (QM, WM, PP-PI, and IM), including 5 years integrating acquired entities into existing SAP environments. He has led multiple implementations on 3 different continents and has most recently been specializing in overall Supply Chain design and integration. Wade’s focus areas include IBP, PP, QM, WM and MM.
As lead of SCM Connection’s IBP practice, Wade is responsible for developing the Integrated Business Planning service offerings. Founding Partner, Patrick Green, says of Wade’s role at the company, “We’re finding that IBP as a whole is a much larger value proposition than even the powerful individual modules. Having Wade onboard with his integrated experiences with individual supply chain modules, data warehousing, and a development history in multiple IT systems, we find him uniquely qualified to develop IBP’s ecosystem.”
Wade adds, “The more I work with IBP and use it to solve specific Client challenges, I’m realizing that IBP is going to be more than just an APO replacement. The cloud-based nature of the tool allows us to spin up solutions very quickly as a proof of concept, and then migrate them into a production environment significantly faster (thus cheaper) than previous SAP products.”
Have you ever wondered why your S&OP process seems to have stalled or isn’t offering the value you had originally hoped? Have you always talked about an inventory optimization project, but were worried about not knowing the potential inventory saving? If this sounds familiar and you’re considering an IBP solution, SCM Connections can help you put together a road map to navigate an IBP implementation and what next steps actually make sense for your organization.
